The story and the mission

I started flying internationally with my kids when they were just 3 months old.
That’s when I realized how different travel feels once you become a parent and how much planning, flexibility, and mental load goes into it.
I’ve always loved planning. From organizing itineraries and packing systems to researching destinations, planning has been part of my life for years, both personally and through my work as a Technology Consultant, where I traveled often for business.
I grew up and lived across three continents and have visited 40+ countries, mixing work travel, solo trips, and family adventures. Travel shaped how I see the world and how I raise my kids.
I consider myself a citizen of the world feeling at home not only in Canada, Niger, and France, but wherever life takes us.

As a Black woman, inclusion and representation matter to me.
As someone who speaks English and French, I understand how important it is to feel supported in the language you’re most comfortable with, especially when planning something as important as a family trip.
Mayana Voyage is named after my daughters and reflects my desire to introduce them to the world early, not perfectly, but intentionally.
My love for organization and photography naturally comes through in how I plan, document, and share travel, helping families see that travel with kids can be manageable and meaningful.
